Let's see some real fireflies this summer!
Estimated to be around 5,000 in number, the fireflies living on the marshes behind the Nankichi Niimi Memorial Museum start to stretch their wings with the arrival of the monsoon, swarming all around the place. So the museum hosts this two-day festival with lots of enjoyable events, such as a night museum, food and drink booths, reading sessions and more. Come and meet some of the creatures that were among those most beloved by Nankichi!

- From Nagoya Station, take the Meitetsu Kowa Line train bound for Agui Station, change trains to the same Meitetsu Kowa Line but to train bound for Utsumi Station, and alight at Handaguchi Station. Walk westwards 20 min. (1.4km) by Route 265.
