A free, tourism-centered ranch just outside Nagoya

Aichi Farm is a tourism-centered ranch with free admission on the outskirts of Nagoya City and home to about 130 heads of dairy cattle as well as other livestock like horses, sheep, goats, deer, rabbits, ducks, peafowl, guinea pigs, and maras—many you can touch and feed, making for great entertainment and a total hit with kids.
Aside from communing with animals, you can enjoy soft-serve ice cream and gelatos using fresh milk as only a ranch can provide. Enjoy all sorts of fun, no matter your age, with kids ages three and older able to ride ponies and hand-led thoroughbreds. You can even milk a cow for yourself, something almost all set their sights on.
And should the mood strike you, an authentic charcoal barbecue experience is available at the BBQ Garden with a reservation. A set with all the fixins is available, so there's no need to bring a thing. But it doesn't stop there; an 18-hole minigolf course is available as some added fun on a sunny day to all the joy this natural oasis offers.

A botanical maze with seasonal flowers and other fun

Aichi Ranch

Aichi Ranch isn't just animals. The ranch offers all sorts of different things to do and scenery changing by the season. Gaze upon rape blossoms and poppies or sunflowers in summer and cosmos in autumn, just to name a few. These fields also host seasonal mazes you can walk through.
No matter the time of year, Aichi Ranch has some botanical beauty to offer. The photo ops are endless, so don't forget your camera!
