Misonoza Theater

Misonoza Theater

The Fushimi area has a brand-new face!

Misonoza Theater, residing in the Naka Ward's bustling Sakae district in Nagoya City, opened its doors for the first time in five years on April 1, 2018 after major renovations. In addition to seating closer to the stage and the impact that comes with it, earphone guidance for explanations of terminology and plots is available (for a fee), making for a more informed and enjoyable kabuki performance even for first-timers.

The first floor is home to Misono Komachi—a culinary theme park with eat-in and take-out options as well as a souvenir corner. The savory scents of Hatcho Miso fill the air together with a Special Demi-glace Sauce Hamburger Lunch, Misono Cakes, Misono Sandwich Rolls, and other trademark treats. Enjoy your fill of original eats available only here.

Check Misonoza Theater's Program Guidance page (Japanese) for performance schedules.
