Four zones combining the unusual and the everyday
Zone 1: A large, sprawling lawn
Enjoy the four seasons to the fullest in a comfortable and relaxing space located on an expansive lawn. Yoga, markets, and other events are held here.
Plus, stores that are new to Nagoya have appear under the theme of “A Forest of Learning” to excite your curiosity. Stores include the Tenro-in Bookstore, which offers creative experiences with a cafe setting; My Gym, where kids can move their bodies while learning English; and FabCafe Nagoya, a cafe equipped with a laser cutter and a UV printer.
Zone 2: Stroll along a quaint path
This is an area where you can take a relaxing walk on a path providing art and light displays each season. With six different eateries one after the other, you can appreciate the weather outside with cafe terrace seating or add a little spice to your day—literally—at one of the restaurants.
Options include an American West Coast-style PEANUTS Cafe with Snoopy and friends; casual Italian restaurant Arcoba; and Koji MARUTANI, where you can enjoy cuisine and sweets made with craft sake and koji-malted rice from local Aichi sake brewer Sekiya Brewery.
Zone 3: Enriching your everyday life
This grassy area is regularly used for laid-back activities, gatherings, and relaxation. Outdoor events are held by the stores under the theme of a "Sports Community", making use of the square right out front.
There are a total of seven stores in this area, including table tennis complex T4 NAGOYA; British-based outdoor brand Karrimor Store; outdoor gear and apparel retailer Snow Peak and its adjoining restaurant; and Narifuri Nagoya, where you can peruse fashion items and bicycles.
Zone 4: Conveying the charm of Nagoya
This area is home to Aichi Prefectural Art Theater, Oasis21, and other pivotal symbols of Nagoya’s culture. There are 24 stores with a focus on global brands and stores selling merchandise only available in Japan. There are also 19 shops currently in the limelight like Ralph Lauren cafe Ralph's Coffee with custom-made products; Cafe de Paris, which was selected as South Korean’s top cafe; and Tokyo's talk of the town bakery/restaurant ESPRESSO D WORKS.
You can also enjoy dining out while gazing at the large, mist-generating reflecting pool installed in front of MIRAI TOWER.
